In March 2025, to celebrate his 77th birthday Johnnie Moussoulides raced against the LUAS in Dublin’s city centre to raise funds for our cancer research programme.
In 2023, Johnnie was diagnosed with a progressed Merkel-Cell Carcinoma, and for the past two years he has been receiving immunotherapy treatment. We were delighted to hear that not only did Johnnie Beat the LUAS but he also Beat Cancer! He recently got the good news that he is now cancer free.
Johnnie raised over €5,500 to acknowledge the wonderful work of the Oncology Team at St Vincent’s Hospital and the ongoing essential work of the Cancer Clinical Research Trust. We cannot express how grateful we are to Johnnie for his efforts in raising these funds and wish him every health and happiness for the future.
