The Cancer Clinical Research Trust are delighted to announce that Dr. Dennis Slamon, who serves as Director of Clinical/Translational Research, and as Director of the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program, at the world famous UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Los Angeles, California, will give a public talk on Thursday November 4th @ 7pm in the Herbert Park Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
Dr. Slamon is one of the foremost cancer researchers in the world today and is particularly recognised for his pioneering work in breast cancer, which paved the way for the development of trastuzumab (Herceptin®), a drug which has transformed the treatment for many patients with breast cancer.
